 We have completed 3 weeks of our second phase teaching practice  In this week I had physics class in 8th standard. I had completed the topics mass, time, and fundamental units and derived units in 8B. I had taught the topics precuations to be taken while measuring the length, mass, time, fundamental units and derived units in 8C class. I had taught the topics time, fundamental units and derived units, method to find the area of a leaf, volume and density in 8D class. Students got the concept through discussion observation experimentation and doing activities  In this week I have chemistry class in 9D. There I taught the topics discovery of neutrons, Bohr model of atom, atomic number, mass number and electron configuration.  I have completed 2 weeks of my second phase teaching practice.  On Tuesday I had physics class in 8B. There  I have taken method of finding thickness of a paper, metal wire and length of curved line. I had physics class in 8D. there  I have taken smaller and bigger units of length. Some substitution duty were also got in this day On Wednesday reading day was celebrated in school. Special assembly was conducted on school. There was speech about importance of reading. I had physics class in 8C. There I have taken the topic smaller units of length, method to find out the thickness of paper, thickness of metal wire and length of curved line through discussion observation and doing activities.I had physics class in 8B.There I have taken the topic diameter of sphere and bigger and smaller units of length. Second  phase of our teaching practice was started from June 12 2024 onwards. We a group of 8 members - myself Neethu, Anupama from physical science optional and Devika, Princy and Asha from mathematics optional and Nithya, aiswarya and samyukta from social science optional were assigned Govt model HSS Venganoor. I was assigned to take physics class in 8B, 8C,8D and chemistry class in 9D On first day I have physics class in 8B and 8C. I have taken the topic length. Students got the concept through discussion observation and doing activities.I have chemistry class in 9D.
